Iskandar Investment Bhd (IIB) has partnered with TM-Nxera through River Retreat Sdn Bhd to develop a digital infrastructure valued at approximately RM9 billion in Medini, Iskandar Puteri, Johor in Malaysia. TM-Nxera, a joint venture (JV) between Telekom Malaysia and Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel), aims to create an AI-ready, net-zero carbon CBD to support the growth of technology-driven industries and enhance subsea connectivity between Johor and Singapore.
The collaboration supports Malaysia’s MYDIGITAL Blueprint agenda, which aims to drive a digitally-enabled government and economy, and is part of the country’s goal to attract RM70 billion of investments by 2025 as outlined in the MyDIGITAL Blueprint and the National Industrial Master Plan 2030.
