Nasuntara, the new capital city of Indonesia, is set to have flying cars in the future. In line with this, the government has signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korea-based Hyundai to develop an advanced air mobility (AAM) system in the capital. Trials for the flying car project are expected to commence in 2024.

The vehicles will be used to transport passengers and goods to locations that are not accessible by roads. Since technology for flying vehicles is still underdeveloped, widespread use of the cars will only be feasible in the next decade.
