Private equity firm Carlyle Group has acquired a 25 per cent stake in Indonesian telecommunications provider PT Solusi Tunas Pratama, for $100 million. Carlyle was reportedly able to structure the transaction so as to remain in compliance with rules that restrict foreign ownership of tower assets.
