The Government of Indonesia has presented 32 strategic infrastructure projects worth IDR207.64 trillion (approximately USD11.77 billion) to Japanese investors as part of efforts to accelerate national infrastructure development. The projects, managed by state- and region-owned enterprises, include toll roads, railways, ports and transit-oriented development, among other sectors.

The projects were presented at the 2026 Indonesia-Japan Transportation and Infrastructure Business Forum in Tokyo, which brought together Indonesian project owners and representatives from 36 Japanese companies. Indonesia highlighted Japan’s role in supporting major infrastructure initiatives, including the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) network and Patimban Port, while seeking to strengthen investment, capacity building, knowledge and technology transfer.
