Indonesia Energy Corporation (IEC) has announced an oil discovery in its Kruh 25 well in Indonesia. The drilling rig has been shifted to a different well location and IEC will start drilling its second new well in the next few weeks. This effort is part of IEC’s previously announced plan to drill three additional wells at the Kruh Block in 2021, with more wells expected in the coming years. The Kruh 25 well was drilled to 3,368 feet depth. Completion of works on the well was delayed due to the COVID-19 restrictions in Indonesia.
