Hyundai Engineering places orders for two 150 MW CFB steam generators

Hyundai Engineering Company Limited has awarded a contract for the design and supply of two 150 MW circulating fluidised bed (CFB) steam generators. The generators are for a new power plant to be developed by Therma Visayas, Inc., a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power, in the central province of Cebu. Therma Visayas, Inc. will also provide onsite technical advisory services as part of the contract. The company plans to operationalise the plant in the first quarter of 2018.
