12 companies express interest in Mindanao thermal power plant

A total of 12 companies have expressed interest in the development of the 200 MW coal-fired Mindanao thermal power plant. These are Conal Holdings Corporation, FDC Davao Del Norte Power Corporation, FirstGen Northern Power Corporation, GDF Suez Energy Philippines, Inc., Masinloc Power Partners Company Limited, Meralco Powergen Corporation, Nexif Private Limited, SMC Global Power Holdings Corporation, SPC Power Corporation, Team (Philippines) Energy Corporation, Therma Southern Mindanao, Inc., and Vivant Energy Corporation. The last date for submission of final bids is September 23, 2015.
