Hanoi Metro transported approximately 4.78 million passengers in Q1 2025, marking a 13.3 per cent increase year-on-year in Vietnam. The Cat Linh–Ha Dong line alone accounted for 3.23 million riders and VND20.2 billion in ticket revenue, while the Nhon–Hanoi Station line saw 1.49 million passengers and VND9.34 billion in revenue. The operator, Hanoi Railway One Member Company Limited, successfully ran over 39,000 trains during this period.
The company aims to operate 161,000 trains in 2025, a 46.8 per cent rise from 2024, targeting over 19 million passengers and a projected revenue of VND 111 billion. Efforts to boost multimodal integration include partnerships with Transerco, Tri Nam, VinBus, Xanh SM, and Grab. Hanoi Metro is also coordinating with the Department of Construction to improve connectivity through designated zones for bicycle parking, ride-hailing services, and private vehicles at stations.
