GreenYellow Cambodia (GYC) has completed Phase I of the solar power project at Bakheng Water Treatment Plant. Around 3,500 solar panels were installed under this phase, increasing the facility’s total capacity by 1.9 MWp.

Moreover, GYC has collaborated with VINCI Construction Grand Projects (VCGP), under the guidance of Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority (PPWSA) to provide sustainable energy solutions. GYC has designed, installed and commissioned the solar panels and VINCI developed the national water treatment and supply plant.

The Bakheng Water Treatment Plant delivers up to 390,000 cubic metres per day of water to Phnom Penh City and Takmao Street at the border.
