Greenlyzer and Royal Group have signed a memorandum of agreement to accelerate the deployment of green hydrogen energy solutions across Southeast Asia, with initial focus on Cambodia.

The partnership centres on pilot deployments of Greenlyzer’s Green Moving Grid (GMG), a hydrogen-based mobile energy system designed to supply electricity to data centres, industrial facilities and remote or disaster-prone locations. At the core of the system is the Alpha Energy System, which uses artificial intelligence to optimise energy production, storage and distribution in real time.

The agreement aims to demonstrate scalable, locally produced green hydrogen solutions and address infrastructure gaps in underserved areas. By converting renewable energy into hydrogen and back into electricity when needed, the system offers a flexible alternative to traditional grid expansion, particularly in regions facing rapid industrialisation and rising energy demand.

Strategically, the collaboration aligns with broader ASEAN ambitions to strengthen regional energy security and diversify power supply through initiatives such as the ASEAN Power Grid. It also reinforces Cambodia’s role as an emerging node in the region’s clean energy ecosystem while positioning Singapore as a hub for green innovation.
