Green SM, in collaboration with Taksi Diamond, has rolled out an all-electric taxi service at Indonesia’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, West Java. Operating under the brand Green SM Airport, the service deploys VinFast electric vehicles (EVs) to provide rides between the airport and city.
To encourage adoption, Green SM is offering promotional discounts of up to IDR50,000 (USD 3.23) per trip for airport departures during the launch period. Passengers can access the service by booking through the Green SM mobile app or directly hailing taxis at designated stands in Terminals 2 and 3. The initiative highlights the growing role of EVs in Indonesia’s transportation sector, particularly in high-demand hubs such as airports.
