Vietnam’s Green and Smart Mobility (GSM) has won the Green Leadership Award at the 2025 Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) for its impactful role in transforming urban transport. As Southeast Asia’s first all-electric ride-hailing platform, Green GSM integrates VinFast EVs and enables both private EV owners and traditional taxi firms to operate under its Xanh SM Platform. Since its launch two years ago, the company has facilitated over 300 million zero-emission trips and cut 211,000 tons of CO₂ across Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Holding 40 per cent of Vietnam’s electric taxi market, GSM has electrified 19 partner fleets and works with major taxi operators like G7, Mai Linh, and Lado Taxi. The award recognises its regional leadership in climate action and its scalable “Go Green Global” model. Following its June 10 public launch in Metro Manila, GSM has solidified its position as Southeast Asia’s second-largest ride-hailing provider—and the only one operating exclusively with EVs.
