Grab has made an investment in EBOOST to support the expansion of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across Vietnam. The investment builds on a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the two companies in November 2025 and strengthens EBOOST’s financial capacity to accelerate the deployment of its charging network. EBOOST currently operates more than 2,500 charging points nationwide, serving over 10,000 EV users, and is among the first Vietnam-focused EV charging platform companies to receive direct investment from Grab.
The partnership integrates EBOOST’s charging platform with Grab’s ecosystem to provide a seamless charging experience for driver-partners. Since April 2026, EBOOST’s charging network has been integrated into the EV Charging feature within the Grab Driver application, allowing electric car drivers to locate charging stations, initiate charging sessions and complete payments through a single platform. Hundreds of charging points have already been integrated, and the companies are now expanding the platform to include thousands of charging points for electric motorbike driver-partners.
The investment supports the expansion of Vietnam’s public charging infrastructure and the country’s transition towards electric mobility. EBOOST’s proprietary software platform is designed to support both electric four-wheelers and two-wheelers across office buildings, residential developments, public destinations and parking facilities. Through the partnership, Grab aims to improve access to affordable charging for its driver-partners, while EBOOST expects to increase charger utilisation, expand its customer base and strengthen its position in Vietnam’s growing EV charging market.
