The Indonesian government, through the Priority Infrastructure Development Acceleration Committee (KPPIP), has selected 30 infrastructure projects worth around Rp 851 trillion as priority projects to be developed by end-2019. The KPPIP will decide the financing schemes for the 30 priority projects and will also study the possibility of increasing the viability gap funding allocation for the projects. The projects include the East Kalimatan railway, MRT in the South-North Jakarta lane, the Karangkates IV and V (2×50 MW) hydropower plants (PLTA), Kesamben PLTA (37 MW), LRT in South Sumatra, and the Batang power plant in Central Java.
