Go-Ahead Singapore has commenced operations under a new contract awarded by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), introducing a fleet of 260 zero-emission buses as part of an expanded public transport network in Tampines.

The operator will manage 400 buses across 29 routes from the newly opened East Coast Bus Depot, with services being introduced in two phases during July 2026. The routes will serve key transport hubs, including Tampines Bus Interchange, Tampines Concourse Bus Interchange, Tampines North Bus Interchange, and Changi Business Park Bus Terminal.

The deployment supports Singapore’s public transport decarbonisation strategy and leverages Go-Ahead Group’s expertise in zero-emission operations. The company will also implement an advanced Operational Control Centre to monitor fleet operations, including real-time battery health and performance, helping ensure reliable service delivery.

Go-Ahead Singapore has expanded its workforce to more than 2,000 employees and now operates a fleet of approximately 900 buses across the country.
