Globe Telecom rolls out 5,000 4G LTE cell sites across Philippines

Philippines-based Globe Telecom has rolled out around 5,000 4G LTE cell sites across the country in the 700 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz bands. The expansion of cell sites is due to an expected increase of 50 per cent in data traffic. Moreover, 43 per cent of the total data traffic is carried over the 4G network.
