The city government of Mandaue has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Global Electric Transport (GET) Philippines Incorporation to deploy 10 Community Optimized Managed Electric Transport (Comet) buses in Mandaue. The buses will be deployed and managed by GET while the city government will provide charging stations, parking areas, and bus stops.
The Comet buses will be powered by electricity and have a capacity of 30 passengers. These buses have air-conditioning, CCTV cameras, internet, and a mobile application.
