Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has completed the 500 kV circuit-3 transmission line, connecting Quang Trach in Quang Binh to Pho Noi in Hung Yen. The line is completed in six months, a significant reduction from the typical three to four-year timeline.
The 519 km project, with an investment of approximately USD896.8 million, includes four key sections and involves extensive construction efforts. This transmission line will double the power capacity from 2,500 MW to 5,000 MW, enhancing stability and power supply to Northern Vietnam, while reducing the strain on the existing infrastructure.
