Shell (Malaysia) has awarded Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE) the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for work on its Rosmari-Marjoram gas project in Sarawak. The EPC contract covers the offshore platform of the gas project. The platform will be installed 140 km deep at the SK318 block.

The unmanned offshore platform will be primarily powered by renewable energy (RE), sourced from 240 solar panels. Diesel generators and batteries will be used as backup.

The platform is expected to commence service in 2026. Once operational, it will be able to generate up to 800 million standard cubic feet of gas per day which will be supplied to the Petronas LNG Complex in Bintulu.
