Envision Energy has announced plans to begin constructing the 300 MW Envision Nam Po wind power plant in Dien Bien, Vietnam, in June 2025, targeting completion by December 2026.
The USD420 million project, covering 105 hectares, will consist of 60 turbines and aims to generate 900 million kWh annually, connecting to the 500 kV Lai Chau transformer station. Provincial authorities are committed to supporting the project, particularly in regulatory approvals and site clearance, emphasising Dien Bien’s renewable energy (RE) potential due to its high solar radiation levels.
