Puah Kok Keong has been appointed as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of the Energy Market Authority (EMA) in Singapore. In his current role, Puah will bring prior experience in the energy sector, having worked in MTI’s Energy Division from 2006 to 2008. Before his current appointment, Puah served as the deputy secretary (policy) of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), since August 2016, overseeing policy, planning, international cooperation, research and statistics, legal, and psychological services. He also played a key role in formulating and implementing the Home Team Transformation plans, enhancing the capabilities of the Home Team.
