Meanwhile, PSALM has reported that a total of eight investor groups are keen on bidding for Units 1 and 2 of the 200 MW Agus VI HEP plant. These are Alstom Philippines; China International Water and Electric Corporation; Guangxi Hydroelectric Construction Bureau; a JV of HydroChina ZhongNan, HEC, and BSP; Kaltimex Energy Philippines; PHP Philippine Hydro Project, Inc.; Vicente T. Lao Construction; and Zhejiang Fuchunjiang Hydropower Equipment Co. Limited. The deadline for the submission of bids is end-September 2013. The project intends to increase the power output of Units 1 and 2 of the Agus VI power plant from 25 MW to 34.5 MW each. The plant consists of Units 1 and 2 with rated capacities of 25 MW each, and of Units 3, 4, and 5 with rated capacities of 50 MW each
