EGAT has started work on the Mae Moh power plant Units 4-7 replacement project. The plant has been in operation for 33 years. The project is likely to take 46 months and commercial operation is likely to begin in November 2018. Of the total budget of 36,800 million baht, 22.41 per cent will be invested to reduce the plant’s environmental impact.
