Malaysia-based edotco Group, through PT edotco Infrastructure Indonesia, has acquired around 1,000 telecommunication towers from XL Axiata in a move valued at RM219 million. The company will acquire 859 telecom towers through a sale and leaseback and for the remaining 162 towers, enter into a managed service agreement with a Build-To-Suit potential.
edotco operates in nine major markets across Asia, with a portfolio of over 50,000 telecom towers across Malaysia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Philippines, Myanmar, and Laos.
