Malaysia’s East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project has achieved 85 per cent completion and is expected to commence operations in early 2027. The project will become a national asset and a key driver of economic growth along the East-West corridor. The RM74.96 billion project will span 665 km, connecting Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and Selangor in Malaysia.

Additionally, the ECRL aligns with the government’s Madani vision for shared prosperity, calling for collaboration between federal, state, and private sectors. The ECRL is expected to open up new business opportunities, create local jobs, and enhance connectivity between the East Coast and the Klang Valley, supporting broader development goals.
