The City People’s Committee of Da Nang has approved a project to develop 300 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations to encourage the use of electric vehicles in Da Nang. By 2030, the city will build 250 EV charging stations of levels 1 and 2, and 50 charging stations of level 3.
It is also planned to develop a roadmap to convert petrol-fuelled public buses to electric buses and to encourage the development of electric vehicles. Public procurement and use of electric cars to serve at departments, agencies, and state agencies in the city on a suitable basis has also been encouraged. It has also been proposed to apply the regulation of financial support to projects that produce or use clean technology, clean energy, and renewable energy.
