CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive to supply 30 LRT to Malaysia’s Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad

 CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive, a subsidiary of China’s CSR Corporation Limited, has secured a supply order for 30 high performance light rail trains (including 180 cars) from Malaysia’s Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad. The trains that will run on Malaysia’s Ampang Line Extension will incorporate aseptic and dehumidifying technologies which suit Malaysia’s tropical marine climate. The two companies are expected to sign a contract by February 2014.
