PowerChina Huadong Engineering Company Limited has appointed AqualisBraemar LOC as a marine warranty surveyor for phases 2 and 3 of the Binh Dai Wind Farm, an offshore farm planned in Vietnam.
The scope of work will include the technical evaluation and approval of all activities ralated to the marine transportation and installation of components on the wind farm, on site survey to monitor all key marine operations, and vessel feasibility surveys for all offshore support and installation vessels. The review will be completed by October 2021.
Earlier, AqualisBraemar LOC was also contracted to conduct studies on phase 1 of the offshore wind farm construction.
The Binh Dai offshore wind power station will have a capacity of 310 MW and 74 offshore wind turbines will be installed in eight phases.
