The construction of the double-track railway line connecting the cities of Bogor and Sukabumi in West Java has commenced. At present, the double-track railway line stretches from Jakarta to Bogor, while the Bogor-Sukabuwi route is served by a single-track railway line. Although the 30.5 km railway project is scheduled to be completed in 2020, the 26 km section between Bogor and Cicurug will be in operation in 2019. In addition, the government is also constructing the Bocini toll road, which stretches from Ciawi to Sukabumi. It is expected to be completed in October 2019.
