ConocoPhillips has officially become the sole operator of the Kebabangan Cluster, a group of oil and gas fields in Sabah state in Malaysia. The transfer of rights from Petronas, which previously co-operated the project with ConocoPhillips and Shell. ConocoPhillips Sabah Gas will now manage the project, which has a gas export capacity of 750 million standard cubic feet per day. This move is part of a long-term strategy to ensure energy security through 2050.
