The Export-Import Bank of China has signed a loan agreement with the Indonesian Ministry of Finance to provide funding for Phase III of the Bandung highway project. Earlier, it had also provided loans for Phases I and II of the project. The 60 km highway project connects Bandung city with the International airport in West Java province.
