Changi Airport witnesses passenger traffic of 4.58 million during August 2014

Passenger traffic at Changi Airport was 4.58 million during August 2014, a 1 per cent increase over the corresponding month in 2013. Cargo volume fell by 2.6 per cent year on year to reach 155,000 tonnes in August 2014. A total of 28,200 aircraft were handled at Changi Airport. Between January 2014 and July 2014, Changi Airport handled 31.8 million passengers, a 1.3 per cent increase over the corresponding period in 2013. The number of aircraft landings and take-offs increased by 3.6 per cent to 199,900, while cargo volume stood at 1,065,000 tonnes during January–July 2014.
