The Government of Cambodia has officially opened National Road 10 (NR10), a 198.5-km highway constructed by China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC), a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC). The route connects provincial regions in western Cambodia and reduces the road distance between Koh Kong and Battambang from more than 560 km to approximately 280 km.
The project traverses mountainous and forested terrain and includes Cambodia’s tallest bridge, spanning a deep river valley. The highway provides a direct, paved connection for rural communities and improves regional transport connectivity. It also received an Award of Merit in the Engineering News-Record (ENR) 2026 Global Best Projects awards, recognising its engineering and construction achievements.
