Canada-based Bombardier Transportation has secured a $287 million contract from Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTSC) to maintain the Pink and Yellow Lines of the Bangkok monorail for a period of 20 years. The scope of work includes maintenance of 72 four-car trains, guide-way switches and depot equipment. Bombardier Transportation is supplying 72 Innovia Monorail 300 trains, equipped with the Cityflo 650 automatic train control system, for both the lines under a contract secured in August 2017. In addition, the company is also providing services such as project management, systems engineering and integration, testing and commissioning of the new trains and systems.
