Blueleaf Energy Philippines has announced plans to develop a PHP15 billion floating solar project, NKS Solar One, across Lake Caliraya and Lake Lumot in Laguna. The 220 MWp facility, slated for construction in early 2025 and operation by mid-2026, involves China-based contractors Energy China and Xian Electric for installation and substation management.
Blueleaf is also planning the PHP66 billion Bluesolar project on Laguna Lake, aiming to generate 1,300 MWp by 2026. This larger initiative is a joint venture with SunAsia.
