BCPG Private Limited Corporation, part of Bangchak Corporation, plans to invest THB32 billion in renewable energy projects for 2025 in Thailand, marking a significant increase from its 2023 spending of THB3.2 billion. The budget will support new solar and wind farms in Laos, Vietnam, and Taiwan, alongside energy projects for Thailand’s manufacturing sector.
BCPG aims to boost its clean energy capacity from 38 per cent to 70 per cent by 2030, expanding total generation to 2,800 MW. Investments include a 600 MW wind project in Laos supplying Vietnam’s grid and other ventures in Southeast Asia and beyond.
