Ayala Corporation Energy, Inc. has signed a shareholders’ agreement with Vietnam-based Blue Circle Pte Limited to jointly construct, own and operate the Mui Ne wind farm located in Binh Thuan province on the southeast coast of Vietnam. Initially, the companies have committed to build 40 MW at a cost of around $92 million, which is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2020. The construction of Phase I of the farm will be funded by debt as well as equity. The capacity of the farm can be expanded up to 170 MW.
