Airports of Thailand (AOT) aims to increase passenger handling capacity to more than 150 million passengers annually at Bangkok airport by 2030.

Meanwhile, the Suvarnabhumi Airport is expected to double its passenger capacity to 120 million passengers annually by 2030 with runways and passenger terminal expansion. The airport is expected to be a part of the world’s top 20 airports by 2029. 

Additionally, AOT also plans to establish the largest aircraft maintenance and air cargo distribution hub in the country.
