Alternergy Holdings Corporation has signed an interconnection agreement to connect its wind project in Quezon province with the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP). As per the agreement, NGCP will supply clean energy through a 69 kW Hondagua transmission line in Lopez town. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
Construction works will commence on the project after it has secured the green light from the Department of Energy (DOE).
