Singapore-based Grab Holdings, a ride-hailing service provider has named Alex Hungate as the company’s new CEO, effective January 2022. Hungate will take over current COO Tan Hooi Ling and will oversee Grab’s expansion beyond ride-hailing services into multiple new segments.
Alex Hungate joined SATS in July 2011 as an independent director, progressed to executive director in July 2013, and then to his current position as the president and CEO in January 2014. He has also previously served as the CEO of HSBC Singapore.
