NEC Indonesia has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Telkom Indonesia to develop a smart city in Indonesia’s planned future capital city, Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) and other cities. Both companies will formulate a strategy, roadmap, design, and implementation plan for Smart Cities meanwhile, the primary focus will be developing a smart city in the IKN, which is scheduled to be operational by 2024.
Currently, Telkom Indonesia is developing a Telkom Smart Office in the IKN which will feature digital connectivity, platform, and services.
