Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) and San Miguel Corporation (SMC) have signed a memorandum of agreement (MoU) worth PHP72 billion to design, build and operate the Cavite-Batangas Expressway (CBEx) and Nasugbu-Bauan Expressway (NBEx) in the Philippines. The partners are currently awaiting relevant approvals for the transaction.
The 27.06 km CBEx will link MPTC’s Calax Silang (Aguinaldo) interchange at Nasugbu and the 60.90 km NBEx will connect to Bauan. Passenger services are scheduled to begin in 2027.
