Adhi Karya Tbk is planning to engage a bank syndicate to raise finance for its upcoming clean water facility in Dumai, Riau province. The facility is expected to entail an investment of $35 million, of which 30 per cent will be funded through equity while 70 per cent will be provided through bank loans.

The clean water facility will use domestic technology developed by Adhi Karya and Adaro Tirta Mandiri, a subsidiary of Adaro Energy Tbk. It will have a capacity of 450 litres per second and will supply water to 20,300 houses by 2024. The construction work for this facility is expected to commence during 2019 itself and will be completed within five years from the commencement of construction.
