Jackie Surtani has been appointed the new Regional Director of Asian Development Bank (ADB), Singapore Office. In his new role, Surtani will lead efforts to strengthen collaboration between ADB and the Government of Singapore and the financial sector, as well as explore prospects for both private and public sector initiatives in the region, placing significant emphasis on initiatives related to climate action.
He has about 30 years of experience in Asian infrastructure lending and advisory. Before his current appointment, he served as the director of infrastructure finance at ADB’s Private Sector Operations Department for East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific regions.
