AC Energy Corporation (ACEN) will invest PHP25 billion to construct a 1,200 MW gas turbine power plant in Batangas city in the Philippines. The plant will be designed to meet the energy requirements of the mid-merit and peaking loads of the national power grid. The project, which will consist of six 200 MW gas turbines, will be developed by Ingrid3 Power Corporation.

The project’s will include a feasibility study, engineering and design, permit acquisition, site development, procurement of equipment, construction of the gas turbine plant and its substation, as well as components of the transmission line and monitoring.
