AC Energy and the BIM Group’s 88 MW wind farm commences operation in Vietnam

AC Energy Corporation (ACEN) and the HaLong Investment and Development’s (BIM Group) 88 MW Ninh Thuan wind farm project has commenced commercial operation in south central Vietnam. The USD155 million wind farm project is expected to generate around 327 gWh in clean energy annually while reducing 298,551 tons of carbon emissions per year.

This recent development increases ACEN’s renewable energy (RE) capacity in Vietnam to approximately 1,000 MW in operation and under construction, making the country the second largest RE market after the Philippines.
