ABL has secured a contract from Velesto Energy to provide marine warranty survey (MWS) services for ABL’s rig moves offshore Malaysia. Additionally, ABL will support rig moves in neighbouring countries of Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand, over one year.
As per the contract, ABL’s rig-moving surveyors in Malaysia are expected to survey and approve between 14 to 16 rig moves offshore Malaysia for Velesto’s six-rig fleet.
The contractor will provide all technical studies including leg penetration assessment, site-specific assessment, leg punch-through assessment, and leg extraction studies.
