The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a USD200 million loan for climate-resilient infrastructure projects in the Philippines. This is the second financing under the Infrastructure Preparation and Innovation Facility (IPIF) and will help in the implementation of early-stage projects through feasibility studies and detailed engineering design. The focus will be on climate-resilient roads, bridges, transport, and flood risk management projects identified by the government as flagship projects.

ABD will also assist the Department of Transportation (DoTr) and the Department of Public Works and Highways in implementing large-scale infrastructure projects.
