Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) has introduced QR code–based paperless ticketing for express bus services, requiring all tickets sold via online travel agents from February 2026 onwards to include a QR code, removing the need for passengers to collect physical tickets at the terminal.
The update allows passengers to enter the departure area by scanning QR codes directly, addressing congestion and long queues previously experienced at ticket counters, particularly during peak travel periods. For tickets purchased earlier without QR codes, passengers can generate a QR code online through the TBS website.
