The Government of Hà Nội have announced plans to build three new bridges across the Red River between 2025 and 2030, with a total investment of approximately VNĐ47.982 trillion. The municipal People’s Committee has submitted the investment proposal for approval. The Trần Hưng Đạo Bridge will span 5.6 km, featuring a six-span arch structure and six vehicle lanes, with construction expected from 2025 to 2027 at a cost of VNĐ15.967 trillion.

The Tứ Liên Bridge and its connecting roads will cover 5.15 km, linking Tây Hồ, Long Biên, and Đông Anh districts, with an estimated cost of VNĐ20.171 trillion. The Ngọc Hồi Bridge, part of Ring Road 3.5, will stretch 7.5 km, with a projected cost of VNĐ11.844 trillion, funded by state and local budgets. The Hà Nội People’s Council reviewed the investment plan on February 25, 2025.
